Insurance and refunds
- Refund window
- The $50 deposit is refundable if you cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before the appointment. Within 48 hours, it is not refunded.
- Insurance required
- Insurance is required for broader care needs. NorCal ADHD does not bill it directly.
- Superbills
- Receipts are available for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Why do I need insurance if you do not bill it?
ADHD care can involve labs, primary care coordination, pharmacy requirements, authorizations, and other care needs outside of NorCal ADHD. Insurance helps keep broader care available when needed.
What happens after I book?
You complete your pre-visit history through Spruce before the appointment. If care begins after the visit, ongoing support continues through Spruce with messaging, follow-up, and pharmacy support when needed.
Is this emergency care?
No. NorCal ADHD is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or need urgent medical help, call 911 or seek emergency care.
